Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid movie soon
Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid are doing a movie soon under Regal Entertainment.
“Yes, I will be Juday’s next leading man. And what excites me more is that I’m part of the writing team,” Ogie said.
Interestingly, his ladylove Regine Velasquez has inputs too in the project.
“To begin with, this is our original concept. Mother Lily (Monteverde) commissioned some new writers to help us develop the story. Dante Garcia, the director of Juday’s "Ploning" will also handle this project. I’m certain that it will turn out fine,” says Ogie.
The film, titled "Oh My Girl" belongs to the romantic comedy genre.
“It’s a feel-good movie, something that leaves a smile on the viewers’ faces after watching it in the theater. And definitely, it has a heart. It’s like watching an Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller flick.”
Their maiden venture in scriptwriting, Ogie said that he and Regine want to make sure that the public will not get disappointed.
“For one, we are very meticulous with every detail. We want our brilliant concept be transcended to the big screen the way we visualized it. It’s really one thrilling project. We hope it makes a killing at the tills,” the talented host-comedian said.
