Eugene Domingo -- Oo, ’di na ako virgin

COMEDIAN Eugene Domingo is now considered a box-office star. She proved that the success of “Kimi Dora” wasn’t a fluke when every movie that followed also made it at the box-office (maybe, not as big as “Kimi” but still quite satisfactory for their producers), especially her latest, “Here Comes the Bride.” In fact, we learned that all the money that its producer, Atty. Joji Alonzo (she co-produced the movie with Star Cinema), lost in the past have all been recovered because of “Here Comes...”

Now, it’s a wise move for Mother Lily Monteverde to celebrate the 50th year of Regal Films with a movie starring Eugene. Titled “Mamarazzi,” it’s about a middle-aged woman who bears triplets, and how she struggles to bring them up, in a funny yet sensible way.

Eugene admits it’s hard to play a mom as she has never been one. But frankly, does she have a boyfriend right now? “Lahat na ng suwerte nasa akin ngayon, may mahihiling pa ba ako?” she replies.

The 39-year-old actress says having a boyfriend isn’t the be-all and end-all of happiness. “At saka, I get to kiss all the hunks in my movies, what else could I ask for? Kulang na lang sa listahan ko, si Piolo (Pascual). Dito sa “Mamarazzi,” napagsamantalahan ko si Diether (Ocampo). Siguro, sa susunod, Brazilian-Japanese hunk naman, baka si Fabio Ide (her co-host in the Saturday night show, “Comedy Bar” on GMA7).

Is she still a virgin?

“Sa edad kong ito, siguro, hindi na nakakahiyang umamin: Hindi na,” she says bluntly.

Kailan nangyari?

“When I was in my 20s,” she admits. “Naku, mababasa ng nanay ko ito.”

Hindi mo ba nami-miss?

“Naku, para-paraan lang ‘yan,” she replies, eliciting laughter.

Gusto mo rin ba magkaanak?

“Oo naman, sa edad kong ito, gusto ko na nga sana bago mahuli ang lahat, pero wala nga, eh.”

Is she willing to have a baby even with a gay man?

“Why not?”

Well, any volunteer for the Mamarazzi?
