Claudine Barretto in Upcoming Soap Opera on GMA-7
Claudine Barretto will finally star in an upcoming soap opera on GMA-7. This is her first project in the Kapuso network for 2011 as her last tv appearance was in “Jillian: Namamasko Po” which was aired during the Christmas season last year.
The 31-year-old actress transferred to the Kapuso network in November of 2009 after almost 2 decades of working with ABS-CBN. Her first project with GMA-7 was the weekly drama anthology “Claudine” and her first film with the network was the romantic drama movie “In Your Eyes” with Richard Gutierrez and Anne Curtis in 2010.
Claudine will start shooting the still untitled TV series this June.

Claudine Barretto is an excellent actress. I love her!
Claudine Barretto is one of the country's best actresses. I would love to see her in a competently-made soap opera, as well as in a well-crafted film.
